All note the Branch AGM will take place Sunday 12th December at 1:30pm for members and 12:30 pm for the Committee.
This is an official invite to members only and if you have anything you may wish to be included on the Agenda you have to send it by recorded delivery to the Branch Secretary 21 days prior to the AGM. It must also be signed by the proposer and seconder.

Branch member and Veteran, Pat Reid (ex 2 PARA) has our Denis make a surprise visit to his new home to wish him a Happy 87th Birthday, long may they continue
Members note there will be an informal meeting this Sunday, 12th September in our club commencing at 1pm.
There will be no Agenda or Minute taking as the exercise is to give us all the chance to pay our annual fee for 2021 and 2022.
Pencil in Sunday 3rd October 2021 as being an official branch meeting, commencing 2pm for the members.
The Primrose Path Tattoo Society, based in Glasgow at 188 Woodlands Road is run by Veterans who donate some of their takings to worthy causes, Lest We Forget.

Great turnout at the Victory in Japan commemoration service at the Knightswood Veterans Memorial Garden in Glasgow led by our Lord Provost councillor Philip Bratt, who was joined by the Veterans of Glasgow and West of Scotland including their families and friends.
Also in attendance were dignatories from the Merchants and Trades houses of Glasgow and the Provincial Grand Lodge of Glasgow, not forgetting The Soldiers Sailors and Airforce Association Forces Help - Glasgow and Renfrewshire Branch led by Agnes (Una) Smith who was joined by Linda Liddel, the branches ex secretary.
Lastly a big THANKS to Colonel Bobby Steele for his Leadership, Ballie Malcolm Balfour for his support, Padre Phil for his lovely service, Big Frank - Scots Guards for his command of the Troops, Joanne and Andy for their solemn music renditions, ALL the Standard bearers and Wreath layers who did their Associations proud, and last but not lest the Staff led by Denise, manageress from the Lincoln Inn who supplied a Buffet second to none.

Great D Day commemoration Saturday 5th June at the Knightswood Veterans Monument in Glasgow. Special D Day Veterans attended along with our Lord Provost Philip Bratt and other dignatories.
Thanks to ALL the Veterans who showed up and what a lovely sight of their Standards on parade. Wreaths in place now as a mark of respect, Lest We Forget.
All members invited to a D Day commemoration that the Committee wish the Branch to host at the Veterans Monument in Knightswood commencing 10.40am, usual dress and please note there is no church service or parade due to this pandemic. Finger Buffet in Lincoln pub. Branch will cover any costs as in previous years. Look forward to catching up and please remember face coverings and 2 metre rule.
Members of the Branch were contacted by The P.R.A. Scottish Chairman Alasdair Hutton who asked if we could provide a Guard of Honour for our Airborne Brother Hamish Graham, Ex 3 Para at North Connell, near Oban. A 4 hour drive there and back to support his family and friends in time of need.
A Big thanks to Frank Cameron, Sammy Moynihan, Denis Mc Cormick and Davie Panayotou for their slick drills at the graveside, did the Branch proud.
Lest We Forget
Thanks to all who attended the funeral of Wullie and May Graham. Here are some words on the day:
Much appreciate if Family and Friends especially VETERANS would consider making a donation to this very worthy cause. I used to coach Jon along with my our oldest Son Terry when they were 15 year olds and played for Church Crookham Rovers, near FLEET.
Jon's father Tom was my R.S.M. in 2 PARA and hails from Paisley. Top notch family. Thanks for any help, and Stay Safe.
Guard of Honour etc will take place at the funeral of former Paratrooper Wullie Graham, Ex 3 Para, tomorrow, Monday 22nd February. Wullie died about 2 weeks ago and his wife died 3 days after him - so sad. He was a PALESTINE Veteran. His Son, Billy Jnr served with 2 Para in the early 70's and jumped with 2 PARA at the Keil Canal.
If you can manage along wear usual dress. Clackmannan Cemetery, Devonway, Clackmannanshire FK10 4LD.
The funeral cortege will leave his home at 12 noon so suggest you get there for 11:30am latest. Pas onto like-minded people if you dont mind.
Hopefully see some of you there.
