As you know we spoke about the condition of a flower bed in the Vets garden
True to their word the council lads got it sorted this morning.
They are going to help lay the Top Soil, which is now ordered next Wednesday, friends indeed.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you sincerely for attending Jimmy’s funeral service on Monday and for carrying the Parachute Regimental Standard. Your presence and support during this difficult time meant a great deal to us and was a fitting tribute to his memory.

TLC for L/Cpl Doc Murdoch
Asked to help fellow Airborne Brothers to have a look at one of their fallen comrades headstone from the Falklands War, L/Cpl Doc Murdoch, Ex 3 Para.
Needed a bit of Tender loving care by the looks of it, so self and Docs mucker, Donny Mc Donald, Ex 3 Para etc tended to it this afternoon.
Looks a lot better now, hope you all agree.

Aldershot Military Cemetary
Visited Aldershot Mil Cemetery Sat 7th Sept and found a few 15 Para lads plaques, including wee Bob Esplin, Robert Cowan, Mushy McKendrick and Peter Morrosin to name but a few.
Left a bunch of flowers and can of Carling as a mark of respect.
